I am a printmaker living and working on a small farm in the picturesque village of Millbrook, Ontario. My wilderness landscape etchings have won many awards and I have exhibited in Canada, the United States, Europe, and the Far East.
There is a sense of peace and solace within my images. They are contemplative and familiar and as original intaglio prints process rich textures and tonal qualities. My early prints were simple line etchings, engravings and dry points, but over time I added other techniques such as aquatint and mezzotint. I also incorporate watercolour painting and photo etching with my some of my prints and enjoy the merging of centuries’ old intaglio techniques with contemporary printmaking technology.
