I started my artistic life drawing and painting as a child. I learned of fiber as a medium while at the Massachusetts College of Art. At the time, I thought I would be majoring in painting, but my love of texture was noted by my professors and I was encouraged to pursue fiber. I taught myself the technique of wet felting, which is why I use it in such an innovative, original way. Over the years, I have learned how to use woodworking to compliment my fiber creations.
