My sculptures are created through the process of “Lost Wax”. I first model each sculpture the piece out of bees wax. I then make a plaster – silca mold of the wax; which is heated in the kiln to letthe wax burn out. Molten glass is then poured into the hot plaster mold each is slowly cooled over the next 2 to 3 days. Cooled, I break it apart and take out the newly cast glass. I combine lost wax and Fusing Glass techniques. I work with float glass, fusing different layers and shapes on a lost cast with other cast glass pieces. The "Naves" series showing people and goods travelling today around the world . Two or more layers of glass seize forms that trigger the imagination of the observer. “The Silent Multitude” series is composed of a lot of glass human figures representing different situations for the people to think about. He combines two techniques in this work, lost wax and fusing glass.
