Born in Des Moines, IA in 1965, shortly before the Great Corn Embargoes, Gregory Story was kidnapped by pirates and forced to grow up at an early age in an agave farm in south Texas. There, under the watchful eyes of his captors, he learned to drink tequila. At night he taught himself to make dream catchers out of beer cans, thus launching a career in the art world. Eventually he escaped and moved to Chicago where he married the man of his dreams and started making wall sculptures that lots of people seem to like. To spread the love, he now travels around the country doing art fairs in all the best places...including Des Moines!
