Esther has always felt a special connection with nature; whether it was romping around the woods of Vermont with her siblings in her youth, rock climbing in the desert, or sitting by a mountain stream listening to the water flow; the connection is always there. Her work is influenced by this, by the natural world and its strong connection with the human spirit. She moved from Vermont to Bozeman, Montana where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing from Montana State University. Since then she has worked with several jewelers, and taken technical courses which have given her the ability to experiment and develop her own unique metalsmithing techniques and designs. Esther’s studio is based in Bozeman, Montana where she finds constant inspiration with the landscape that surrounds.
