FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Silent Rivers enhances Des Moines Arts Festival® VIP experience with curated art gallery

The architecture firm ups the ante for their fifth year as sponsor

Des Moines, IAJune 16, 2017 – With the 20th celebration of Des Moines Arts Festival® just one week away, patrons are buzzing with news of the newest addition to the private luxury of the VIP lounge and hospitality suites, an art gallery personally curated by Silent Rivers Design+Build owner Chaden Halfhill. The gallery will feature work by a select few professional DMAF visual artists.

“Whether delving into individual or cultural memory, or accentuating the physical context for individual or community narrative, these artists elevate and reflect our collective relationship within built space, the fabric of our homes, neighborhoods, towns and cities,” says Chaden Halfhill, curator of the show. “We’re an artistically-minded bunch, so it’s only fitting that we continue to support Des Moines Arts Festival for a fifth year by highlighting the festival’s artists who express their creativity through various mediums just as we express our creativity through fine craftsmanship and spaces that showcase our clients’ personalities.”

Designed and decorated by Silent Rivers, the suites use repurposed wood, scrap product, old doors and compressed paper called rich-lite. “Our focus on using sustainable materials not only helps minimize waste from the Festival, but also provides a contemporary and chic look for the space,” said Halfhill.

Individuals interested in receiving access to the Silent Rivers VIP Club and indulging in the many great benefits it has to offer can become a patron of the Festival here. The membership is tax deductible and includes a long list of benefits such as:

  • Access to the curated art show.
  • Exclusive use of terrace seating with front row views of the Hy-Vee Main Stage.
  • VIP receptions during the Festival.

  • Express lane service at food and beverage locations.
